It is quite encouraging and exhilarating to observe Fresh Graduates posted for their National service also enrol for skill training, develop themselves in particular vocations and render services or products to create income for themselves within a short period of time and subsequently become trainers/facilitators to fresh Corps Members.

A good number of such Established Corps Entrepreneurs are usually engaged as trainers of fresh Corps Members who may be interested in their areas of specialisation.

Ex Corps members who were able to successfully train and establish themselves during the service year are also usually invited as facilitators or motivational speakers to encourage fresh graduates and serving Corps Members.

NYSC SAED IN ONDO STATE HAS STARTED IMPACTING THE LIVES OF ABOUT 2000 FRESH GRADUATES ONCE AGAIN AT THE 2017 BATCH B ORIENTATION CAMP. THE SKILL ACQUISITION PROGRAM KICKED OFF WITH AN OPENING CEREMONY ON MON 27TH NOV IN A VERY COLOURFUL MANNER.

The NYSC Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme of the Federal Government of Nigeria is specifically designed to enlighten and empower ALL fresh Nigerian Graduates during their mandatory National Youth Service. The period could be described as a positive life changing season for fresh graduates who are able to identify, embrace and build on the exposure to the various entrepreneurial skills and packages.

It begins with the introduction and hands-on practical sessions during the 3 weeks Orientation Camp for FREE and is to run through the entire service year to enable them perfect the skills learnt in areas such as Power & Energy (building of solar power systems & inverters), Welding & Fabrication, Cosmetology (production of disinfectants, body products, soap production etc.), Film & Photography, Languages ( French, Spanish, German) various Animals & Crop Production, Bags and Shoe Making, Fashion Design, Interior Decoration and a host of other commercially viable endeavours.

With such golden opportunities to learn skills and other activities during the service year, every focused fresh graduate would have their hands full at all times with no dull moment during the National Service period to actively explore and discover their interests, passion and direction for the future.
